Siembra Azul Blanco

The Siete Leguas distillery is one of the OGs, and it’s where the brand Patron was born and produced up until its founders got to paper chasin’. Siete Leguas still focuses on doing things the traditional way, and the proof is in the juice. The fruity and floral flavors of this blanco can be attributed to the high-altitude, Los Altos region of Jalisco where their agaves grow.

What we love about this blanco is the way the minerality counterweights the sweeter fruits and spearmint. Like Peter Marino balancing his wardrobe with his design sensibility, it's a tricky balance to strike, and they both pull it off with aplomb. Its pleasant finish will have you sipping it at dusk on aThursday thinking about just how good life can sometimes be.

Mijenta believe deeply in sustainability, so we were inclined to rock with them. But even beyond a good planet story, the liquid in this bottle slaps. It hits like a Kid Capri blend: rich flavors of cooked agave, grapefruit and spices make it intense and memorable.

A crew favorite - smooth, with subtle hints of sweet vanilla, oak, and just a dollop of cinnamon. The irony is La Gritona is Spanish for The Screamer, and yet this thing is understated deliciousness. Distilled by Melly Barajas and her staff of women at her small distillery in Valle De Guadalupe, Jalisco, this bottle is especial.
